So much going on here in this fascinating composition.
First, the herringbone type flooring centralized in the shot so that it gives that 3D effect - like peaks and troughs, and also gives perspective.
Second, the positioning of the people sat down balance the whole lower half to two thirds of the frame.
Third, the top third - the blurred people in motion contrasts starkley with the motionless sitters and are captured exactingly to equalize the balance left and right of the top frame.
Fourth, the whole shot follows the 'rule' of thirds.
The shot would only work from this high viewpoint and you have visualised and recognised that fact and executed it superbly.
As I said at the start - there's a lot going on here and deserves to be studied carefully to extract the contents.
I'm pretty sure that this one alone will go a long way in the competition, Pat.
It's a 'thinkers' shot of magnitude! Full marks from me and the very least I can do is vote for it. +V for exceptional work.
