ID by Dr Gerard Schulten as Vobalayca flavifrons quettaensis - female (Cameron, 1907), which is the same species.

Apart from the UAE, this species is known from Oman, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Vobalayca is a new genus name for this group of "Scolia" species. The "erythrocephala" GS
