Dear William Hartshorn,
I have a contract for an academic book with Oxford University Press entitled Sublime Lead. It covers the entire history of lead (minerals, mining, art, biology, lawsuits). As part of chapter 2 various locations that were "born" or altered dramatically by silver mining (uses lead for silver purification) are included. I would like to include this image in the book (Guanajuato image).... The book will have an initial press run of 1000. I am paying for all of the licensing fees out of pocket as Oxford University Press does not support the acquisition of art image licenses.
If you would be so kind as to give permission for the use of this image, and beyond to take into consideration the small size of the book and run etc. I would be very grateful.
See my name an email attached.

Wonderful image William. I suppose it was a long exposure with a Neutral Density filter on it as I could see that as being the only way to get those lovely rich colours.
