At the Rhine-Herne Canal
The Rhine-Herne Canal is a 45.6 kilometer (28.3 mile) long transportation canal in our Ruhr area in Germany.
The canal was opened in 1916, connecting the river Rhine with the Dortmund-Ems Canal,
a canal that goes more than 200 kilometers up to the north of Germany,
ending at the North Sea Harbour of the city of Emden.
The canal is passing the area of the 'Cranger Kirmes' fun fair.
So, while looking for transportation shots at the fair, I found this in between.
