Another collage of shots from the football worldcup days two years ago.

First group showing me that there was more down under than only sheep and roos, were the Easybeats.
Until then a number of groups and artists from Australia have become famous world wide throughout the years,
Bee Gees, AC/DC, Men at Work for example.

Another group quite popular here in the late seventies and early eighties was Little River Band.
First song came in mind while doing this collage.
A big hit from 1986 by John Farnham, a former singer of the band:

YOUīRE THE VOICE
(JOHN FARNHAM)

Second is a hit by the group from 1976.
Itīs what I always think about the distance from here to Australia, when I have a look at the map:

ITīS A LONG WAY THERE
(LITTLE RIVER BAND)

What a great selection, Werner...especially John Farnham who in my opinion is and always will be the greatest !! Did you know when Glenn Shorrock left Little River Band, John took his place for a short time ?
Love those little Socceroos in the picture...we did have a good time at the world cup !!!
