A new treatment of an old window shopping and reflection shot of mine,
for the reflection on Hollywood dreamland
by probably the most british band in pop history, the Kinks.

Next to the Stones, the Kinks have always been my favourite band,
and they still are, though they split in 1996.

CELLULOID HEROES
(KINKS)

...Everybodys a dreamer and everybodys a star,
And everybodys in movies, it doesnt matter who you are.
There are stars in every city,
In every house and on every street,
And if you walk down hollywood boulevard
Their names are written in concrete...

Celluloid heroes was originally written in 1972,
but was always a great live act too throughout the years then.
So I put in a second video with a live version from 1979.

I love the shot. It was nice to hear two versions of the song. I like choice.

I don't know who the 4th Hollywood star is, here - the one watching the scene - but I guess that he is not drinking his glass of scotch! ;-)

Was wondering if anyone could come up with something for Celluloid Heroes...great entry. One of my fave Kinks songs. Love the live version better, some killer lead guitar. thank you.

She's gonna get wacked, if she doesn't get off that table. I Know.... :) Pool room pleasures are innamable.
