We went to see the Magritte exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art today.
The La Brea tar pits are next door. While the tar pit is real, the critters fortunately are replicas.
I think we'll have to go to the Page Museum at the tar pits sometime soon.
Since I wasn't sure whether cameras would be allowed at all at LACMA, I only brought my little G3.
I hadn't used it in months, and I'm really not used to it as a photographic tool anymore.
Apparently, non-flash photography is allowed at the permanent collections, but no photography was allowed at the Magritte exhibit.
