Art deco movie theaters

The Art Deco style combined architecture, interior design, and industrial design as well as visual arts and graphic designs. The style persisted in the US from about 1925 to 1940. Many of these art deco theaters have long since vanished and many are closed. There does seem to be some interest or resurgence in renovating these old art deco theaters. Some are in very good shape considering their age. This gallery consists mostly of those art deco designs in towns across America and a few that are not.
