I've been in Asheville for a few years now, but never had the urge to visit Biltmore House. I guess maybe it's the admission price. The gardens did interest me, but still not enough to pay. Last week, however, the nice lady across the street from me - who is also a photographer - gave me a couple of comp tickets and said 'you gotta go and now is the perfect time'. So I took a day off from work and headed that way. I took this shot of the humble abode before heading to the gardens which are off to the left.
