Chimney Rock Park was my destination today. No particular reason - just figured it might be a good spot for some shots. Unfortunately the park doesn't open until 8:30. I got there a bit early so I headed down to the Lake Lure marina to kill time. This is Chimney Rock Mountain from the parking lot.
