Back in the fall of 2006, Kevin Adams invited me on an aerial shoot over parts of western NC. Along the way he spotted a waterfall in an unexplored (by us) area of the forest. The early morning mist of the waterfall beckoned, 'Come find me if you can'. I was able to get a brief video clip that you may have seen on my site and this is a low quality frame grab from that video. Kevin made me promise that I wouldn't go looking for it until he could get back up and we could go together. We both studied the maps looking for possibilities between the 2 known points we were flying between. We both came up with the same 2 creeks, but we also had our doubts. Our schedules finally meshed and we picked today for the exploration.
