I am from this area of NC.. I moved to California over 30 years ago, and seeing your work here brought back fond memories of the many Sunday drivers of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This particular waterfall, Cascade Falls, was our destination on one such drive. When my Dad was 5 years old, his father fell from the top and was killed. This would have been in the early 1940s, long before the area was made safer with fencing and signs. Thank you for your website. I absolutely love it.
