When we got back to my place after the showing, we called our realtor - Patton Cardwell of Tierney & Co - and had him schedule a revisit for the next day. We both knew we wanted this house! Here's the living area of the house the day of the open house. The door to the left goes out to the side deck where the Japanese Maple is. Note the beautiful wood ceilings. They are throughout the house except in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owner had this large room divided into a sitting area and dining room. Most of the room is yellow with a peach accent wall behind me. Trim throughout the house was painted some funky colors. We both really liked the dining room light fixture.
