Wolf Creek Falls 3

There's also a lower viewing area where the creek spills over a small cascade. Once especially cool thing about this waterfall is the moss growing in the water flow. The topo map shows other possibilities in this area, so I have this area on the 'return to' list. It was now 6:30pm and we needed to get back on up to Max Patch.

If you want to see some nice photos of Wolf Creek Falls in the Fall of the year. GO to Google Earth and look at my Pictures of the falls. All so I have been downstream from the falls and there are five other falls down below it. The area is very remote and very hard to get to. There is a fall that is taller than Wolf Creek Falls that is Allen's Falls. If you go looking for these water falls you will have to have at lest four people with and about 150 feet of rope. Because you will have to reppel down some of the water falls. The sides are to steep to go around some of them. You will have to reppel over Allen's Falls. REMBER TO TAKE AT LEST FOUR PEOPLE!You will need the help if something happens. It is very DANGEROUSdown there. Go early in the day because it gets dark down there very fast at the end of the day. I know it got night fall fast on me twice in the Fall of year.

Very nice! I agree the moss on the rocks enhances the scene.
