I decided to cut through the camping area to connect on to the Big Creek Trail since it's loaded with blooms in early April. There were a lot of Yellow Trilliums, but nothing that really caught my eye. I did spot this small clump of Showy Orchis. It looked better than the ones I shot at Moore Cove last week end, so I stopped for a closer look.
