This is the waterfall Kevin Adams calls the waterfall on Northern Trib of Log Hollow Branch on page 218 of his NC waterfall book. We crossed this small creek on the way to Log Hollow. When I first visited this falls there was no trail at all. Now there's a faint but obvious trail that begins on the right side of the creek. It stays on the right and gets steep as it approaches the waterfall - then you have to cross the creek on the rubble pile to get this view. It's only about 15 minutes up the trail.
From here we headed back to my vehicle, then back to the fish hatchery to Harry's car. I have to work this week, then have some vacation time next week. I'm still debating where to go, but will be begin my time off by continuing the color chase next week end in Lake Toxaway.
