Chestnut Falls isn't all that exciting but the colorful hike made this one the correct choice to visit. Courthouse Falls up the road doesn't have many trees right around it for fall color shots. We drove to the end of FR140 to at least check out the color situation and maybe hike to Upper Courthouse Falls. We weren't impressed, so we headed back down to Hwy 215 and up to the Parkway.
