Sure enough, we were far enough under the overhang that only a little spray was getting on the lens. I was able to set the timer and hop in a shot for perspective. I barely made it before the 10 seconds expired. We both snapped off a few more, then I couldn't resist shooting some video since I didn't have to hold an umbrella while fiddling with the equipment. Then it was back out in the rain, back to the vehicle, and back down the road to the other waterfalls.
