By now the winds were picking up and they were coming from the direction we had to paddle back to, so we decided to call it a day. The sun never did come out and it began raining again before we got back, but we got in 4 hours of paddling, saw some excellent scenery and found out that we needed to come back with camping gear another time when the weather forecast was better.
