The trail comes to the point where Right Fork flows into the Davidson River and turns to follow Right Fork up hill. This is what's left of an old bridge over Right Fork at that point. Right Fork is a beautiful creek and deserves more photo time, but I decided to save that for another day - probably next Spring when the wildflowers are blooming. The trail continues up, then turns right and up through the forest before coming back down just down from Daniel Ridge Falls. The falls had more water than my last visit, but that ugly hemlock tree in front really takes away from the view. We took a look, but didn't hang around long enough to take a picture. I guess this will be my last hike of 2008. It was a great year and I look forward to sharing my adventures in the coming year. Happy New Year!
