The trail up to Devil's Courthouse is probably 1 - 1.5 miles. Look for a side trail with a blue dot on a stake that heads to the right. Follow this trail and it will come out on the paved trail coming up from the Parkway. We opted to keep going for maybe 1/4 mile to where the trail splits again at a large rock on the left. There are some good views from the rock. The easiest way is to take the Little Sam Trail around the rock to the camp site and look for the obvious path through the briers up on the rock. Here is the view looking towards Devil's Courthouse.
We didn't hang around long and I didn't take many shots, but it was still good to get out. I think this will be a good snow trail :) This past week end I was in Greensboro, so don't have any hiking pictures to post. Should be back out this week end if it doesn't rain too hard.
