We continued on to High Falls via the River Bend Trail and ended up at the base of the falls. Half the waterfall was in the shade, half sun. The roostertail at the bottom of the falls was looking fairly pitiful due to lack of water. We climbed up to the overlook from here, but I didn't even take a picture due to the lighting. Time to call it quits for the day and head up to Lake Toxaway
