You need more than a duck to make a picture work as expression, Shirley. And this one does just that. It incongruously juxtaposes a duck against a reflection of itself, and of the world in which it lives. The duck becomes a bridge -- the reflection of its tail touches the land behind it, while the duck's head touches the reflection of the land ahead of it.
