This is the view from the Rex Hotel, Saigon, taken in about 1966 by my father who served 2 tours in Vietnam. I ran across this in his slide collection and recognized it immediately as I have taken just about the same picture. I had a lot of fun checking out the changes from then to now (my recent visit was in 2002) but I have misplaced my version (so much for file management!). At any rate, I scanned the picture and have it here, I'm sure it will bring back memories for some. Enjoy.
