Hubby was the first one to find this tree.
Since he met me, he's found a new adoration for "dying" trees.
I find them completely fascinating!

I love this one for many reasons.
The singleness in the corn field, the lack of folliage/pines...
but I'm especially fond of the top "nest-like" formation.

Wouldn't an Osprey be in heaven up there?

The sentinel of the corn. Oh no, another title for Stephen King. Ha Ha ... Nicely seen and captured. V

I search and search yet find these one tree compositions hard to find in our heavily treed landscape.

Fantastic capture, Linda. The scenery is amazing and I like the subject very much (also have fascination for trees, not only dying). Vote.

Great shot, I find it quite pleasing in the middle of the corn like that. Vote
