There was a certain hole at Russell Creek where I could catch Dolley Varden on almost every cast of my line. I had a specific, apparently irresistible spinner that I had brought from the lower forty-eight (states). The morning after camping overnight near the creek, I caught our breakfast and posed for a picture in front of one of the buildings at Navy Town. Fishing at Cold Bay spoiled me!
