I read and glanced at several articles about how badly the Chinese people suffered from their recent snowfall. But when I looked at the pictures it became clear that the amount of snow they had wasn't that much. It was just that they weren't prepared to handle the stuff. According to Xin Hua online http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-02/02/content_7554242.htm), they had up to 20cm of snow, which is about 8 inches! What would they have done with the several feet that we have gotten here lately?
