From the bogs of New England came cranberries. These were not frozen and had lasted since Thanksgiving. Before they grew moldy I thought I might as well use them and make some cranberry bread! We didn't have orange juice, called for in a recipe I found on the Internet, and so I substituted the juice of half a lemon plus water to make the same volume as the orange juice would have occupied, 3/4 c.
