Mar 12: Sawing a Brownie in half

No, I’m not sawing this old camera in half. Not today anyway. Maybe I’ll save it until the weekend. I’m building a 120 format 6x9 pinhole camera, and this innocent Brownie is donating parts to its film transport mechanism. An eBay bargain, 2 old No.2s for 99p... Just the thing. Just need to chop it around a little.

Now, I know that this will upset the purists and collectors, but tough. There are millions of these still around. They were cheap junk in the first place and they made the damn things for 40 odd years. That’s why they only cost 99p the pair. And saw them up I will! Hot Rod!

LOL!!! I love the juxtaposition of the "colour" hacksaw and the "b & w" Brownie...

Just waiting for a glamorous assistant to appear from inside the Brownie, totally unscathed!

Boy I did flinch. But as long as you are going "in" you might as well show us the insides.

Just make sure you've got the 20D and the Brownie the right way round before you start!
