Feb 21: How not to play the guitar

I need to spend more time playing this guitar. I’ve hardly picked it up in six months and it shows. I said to Mike_R last week that I’m a better photographer than I am a guitarist. If you don’t like my photographs, then you really won’t want to hear me play!

Proudly shooting in jpg mode!

You should start a JPG club!
I'd join, it's all I shoot in these days.

Fantastic SP, David. I like the light here, and the shadow of the guitar on your face. I'd still love to hear you play!!

JPG is all I shoot as well unless I am certain that the shoot is for printing.

Great shot.. i like the shadow the end of the guitar leaves on your face.. And, as always, your b&w tones are perfect.
I just don't get why you're proud to shoot in jpg? Is it a club you belong to? lol
Funnily, I shoot only in RAW now except if I'm doing a simple shot for here.. I've been printing photos a great deal lately - large size - and it makes a huge difference.. at least in digital. Dunno about the .. what do you call that other stuff? hmmm.. I've heard of it.. wait.. OH YES... FILM.
Of course, it takes forever to download off my camera.. then convert to TIFF but it's welll worth it for the printability.
At any rate, nice ... for a jpg (KIDDING!) lol
