This is the first time I saw the car. I'd asked a local VW specialist to find a '67-'70 1200 and modify it to my spec. I wanted that model as it had early style bumpers and rear lights, the later 4 bolt wheels and no cresent vents behind the rear side windows. Here it looks a total mess, but was actually in quite good nick. It was made in late '68, making it a '69 model. The colour was Royal Red and it came from the factory with 12v electric and a locking glove box. Notice the over use of filler... grrrr
