Sep 13: All my fault...

I read today that Ilford have gone into administration. This is terrible news. After 25 years of using Ilford FP4, HP5 and more recently XP2, I load a roll of Kodak T-MAX into the MX, and this is what happens! The end for Ilford? I hope not!

Thought your new Ilford b&w card would save the day for your friends at Ilford :-)

Well, its not mine. I bought my last lot of Ilford in about 1984. But I'm sorry its going.
Somebody was telling me recently that Kodachrome may stop in five years time. But who really knows? But I will rue the day when that happens, as my large aviation slide collection uses this film. And, yes, many of those images were shot on my old MX.

Here's a link to the Ilford story: <http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3605614.stm
