Aug 31: Safe #1

I heard recently that photography is not allowed in Trafalgar Square without a permit from the GLA. Well, not if you might later want sell or publish the pictures. 'Cos you'll get a big fine if you do. So, they're basicly saying that they own copyright of your images that you take in a public place. Isn't that great? So just in case there's a permit required for the use of scissors, I've made this pair safe.

Your rather lax attitude to safety is bewildering. Can you not see the point on the end of these scissors? You must put a cork or some other covering over this to prevent any further injury. I only hope you have been lucky up to now. And the handle. Look at it. You could get your fingers badly caught in there. Best to cover up the holes with something. There should be some regulation on this type of apparatus or people will start to think for themselves like responsible adults. Then where would we be? Big Brother would have lost all control…………….

Your image (which is excellent) cuts right to the heart of the matter..I really resent loss of liberties and controls.

Good lord. There are a few places around here that are getting strick copyright "rules" similar to those -- it's maddening.

So sad but typical of our times ... by the way you still can't run with those:)

Good grief ... isn't that ridiculous.

Thinking of the future and the way things are changing makes death seem not quite so bad!!
