Autumn Colour?

This tree died suddenly during the spring. We don't know why. Since then, it's brown crispy leaves have looked somewhat out of place amongst the all the green of summer. At this time of year though, at just the right time of day (2 minutes and 11 seconds past 2 according to the EXIF info) the sun shines through the dead leaves and lights them up!

FYI - This shot is pretty much straight out of the camera. A very slight 'levels' change, and not even a hint of USM.

This is just beautiful! I can't believe it's of dead leaves. You have a great eye to make something so mundane so striking. Great job!
