Me in my fav SP mirror.
Hey, I did something daft today. Or did I? Huh? I don't shoot raw most of the time. I don't even shoot large/fine. Nope, usually I shoot jpg/normal. Shocking eh? Well, today I switched to medium/normal. OMG! And the pictures looked, well, fab! Medium normal files have more pixels than I had with the 10D or 300D, and use just 1.1Mbytes on my hard drive instead of 11Mb for a raw CR2 file. So my 'puter now has 10x more hard drive space. OK, for critical stuff I'll switch to raw, but for just goofing around, medium/normal is more than enough. Crazy huh? Also notice my Mi6 spec camera, with taped up logos and the 'direct print' button reconfigured as a self destruct.
