Great shot. This technique is a good alternative to the 10.5, Vernon, and the slight highlighting of the snow is realistic. If you still want the different fisheye perspective also, get a stiff stainless steel sheet foil (paper-thickness) somewhere and slide it in between the outer and inner barrel for protection, instead of paper, to cut the lens with safety.
