Well I admit that I thought Leif would like this shot but when I gave him a 5X7 he took a quick look and said "....too studly...." so you can blame me as much as him, This was influenced by the photographer Bruce Weber who was doing whole issues of GQ and Interview at the time and who was later responsible for the first run of A&F catalogs. Of course, Weber was influenced by the earlier German photographer Herbert List, but this line of thought will take us back to the Greeks. Sorry for this crappy scan of a glossy print.
