thx Adolfo! I took all pictures in colours since the Mark II hasn't got a bw mode like the 20D, a mode which I think is useless anyway... Because the process the camera does can be done in PS afterwards - only better. Why? Because you can - and that's how I convert to bw - change the colour channels (red, green, blue; via channel mixer) in the monochrome mode to really achieve the result you're looking for. For good results on the sky I almost always use a circular polarizer (from B+W).

Nice, very nice. B&W and Red filter applied in camera via or post-process? and if so...PS? CaptureOne?...or Canon EOS Viewer Utility? I've been trying to decide the best way to convert to B&W in my Canon 20D.
