This is a GREAT shot both as it is presented here in black and white and also the the color version. The composition is very strong either way. While I love BW photos, I think I might need to give the nod to the color version of this one. I am wondering whether you can boost the contrast on this black and white version (or do a little selective dodging and burning) and maybe play with some duotoning? It is such a great shot and I have a feeling that it could be even more powerful. Okay, I'll shut up now. - liza
