June 14 is celebrated in Poland as a National Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Nazi Concentration Camps.

my name is jesse lempel, i am jewish and live in new york. my grandfather (irving lempel) escaped from ludjensk poland just before the war and is still alive, but nearly all of his family was murdered by the Nazis. are you related?
We must never forget those who perished during this tragic time.

The Holocaust is something no human being should ever experience. My heart goes out to those who have lost family members or had to endure the Holocaust. Makes me cry everytime I think about it. May God Bless you, Maty!

Thank you for sharing this. In our town we have a lady who survived the Holocaust. She tells her story very often so that people will remember. I am not Jewish but my husband is. We want to be sure that people keep this story in their minds and never let such a thing happen again. Ann
