John Muir Trail 2010

Photos from tramping/hiking the John Muir Trail between 16 August and 5 September 2010 (21 days including one rest day), covering a total distance including sidetrips of over 230 miles. The walk starts at Yosemite Valley, heads northeast to Tololumne Meadows, the remainder of the walk continues south to Mt Whitney. To complete our walk we exited the Sierra Nevada Range at Whitney Portal. Photos taken with a Canon EOS 7D camera. Most photos taken with the Canon EFS 18-200mm IS f3.5-5.6 IS lens, but occasional photos were taken with Canon EF 100mm f2.8 USM Macro, and Canon EFS 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM. I walked the JMT with Roy Johnston.

Spectacular pictorial diary of beautiful trail. Have visited many areas of the trail but always entering from the eastern spurs from Owens Valley. Thanks for sharing your incredible adventure!
