2013 motto 'Hell or High Water'

Crews are hard at work getting the grounds ready for the 101st Calgary Stampede. The ten-day event, which bills itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth," attracts over one million visitors per year and features one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.

It's remarkable the work they've accomplished since the flood. But I'm even more impressed with the crews that got the LRT line rebuilt and MacLeod Trail back together. Remarkable!
