I forgot to mention: above the left end of Snow Lake is Gem Lake. Diagonally left and up from Gem Lake is a "fat-H-shaped" clearing in the forest: Lower Wildcat Lake. To the left of LWL, at the base of a treeless snowy slope, is Upper Wildcat Lake. Above UWL is Derrick Lake. In the long dark valley is the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River.
