Howell Owls

I had never before had the opportunity to be so close to so many of these beautiful birds.
I have never even seen an owl in the wild, so this was the next best thing.
They are all rescued birds that are being lovingly cared for at Howell Nature Center in Michigan.
I hope you will enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed seeing and photographing them on a cold but
sunny winter's day

I had an owl in the tree in the front of my house for 3 days...took a million shots...they can't see very well during the day so you can get pretty close to them before they fly off. You do great work!
