In June of 2003, my Argentinian neighbors Claudio, Lina, their daughter Oriana, Deb and I had an rather intense weekend adventure in Nicoya Peninsula. My poor Isuzu had to endure some serious off-roading. It was all worth it in end as our destination, Playa Islita, was both spectacular and beautiful. That Saturday night we made an outing to a isolated beach just north of Playa Islita. There we met both the "Turtle Theif" and the turtle.
