Paris is such a great city whether traveling alone or with family & friends. I have been fortunate to have visited this wonderful city many times during my life. Can you believe that the Parisian transit workers have gone on strike 3 out of the past 6 visits??? (psst - it's also a great walking city). Suggestion: the next time you're in Paris and a strike occurs (most museums will close out of sympathy), go visit the Pasteur Institute. They don't strike & it's a fascinating place!
