“Thinker” is one of a series of six statues that Flanagan created. Most notably, one of the six stands in the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C.

“It’s Rodinesque because [the rabbit's] positioning is almost identical to that of `The Thinker,’ including the wholly unnatural stance,” said one student. “It is almost physically impossible to position yourself in that way.”
