Spicy Salsa

It's harvest time now at Rabbits Run in Kennett Square. When life gives you tomatoes - make salsa! The onions and peppers in the salsa are also homegrown with love.
So far, we have picked 186# / 84.5 kg of tomatoes from our garden this summer.
I made and canned 25 pints of salsa (using 24# / 10.9 kg of tomatoes) on Tuesday. It was a full day of chopping, cooking and canning.
A lot of work for a winter of summer's best.

I am absolutely amazed! My grandparents used to live in Kennett Square! Nice salsa shot also - can't imagine being able to get salsa in Kennett Square back in the 1960's.
