An hour south of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula separates Port Phillip Bay from its more placid neighbour to the east, Westernport Bay. The Peninsula is the sort of place where family campers set up shop at their favourite beach each summer, year after year. Along the inland roads, hobby farms, art galleries and boutique wineries flourish like the grapes on the vines themselves.
