Ladakh & Himachal Pradesh (4 galleries)

Ladakh is the northernmost region of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, aptly known as India's 'Little Tibet' for its geographic and cultural similarities to Chinese-occupied Tibet. Himachal Pradesh lies further south, a region where stark mountain deserts yield to densely-forested hill country.
